Jacqueline Hurdebourcq a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l \u2019Acad\u00e9mie des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019assistante de J. Grau Garriga \u00e0 Barcelone.\u00a0Utilisatrice de la tradition de la tapisserie de haute lisse, elle donne toute sa libert\u00e9 \u00e0 la trame, permettant ainsi \u00e0 son imagination, ses \u00e9motions et sa sensibilit\u00e9 de prendre le relais.<\/p>

Elle a expos\u00e9 ses tapisseries contemporaines dans plusieurs villes en France et \u00e0 Tournai, en Belgique, Herten, Allemagne, Stolberg, Allemagne, Hammamet, Tunisie, Marrakech, Maroc, San Francisco, en Californie, Safed, Isra\u00ebl, Valladolid, Espagne.\u00a0<\/p>

” La couleur, la mati\u00e8re, l’imaginaire sont mes instruments de travail. Partie de la tradition de la haute lisse, je donne toute libert\u00e9 \u00e0 la cha\u00eene, les fils de trame viennent s’y croiser, lui donnant une fois la tapisserie tomb\u00e9e du m\u00e9tier de nouvelles directions. Des formes s’y installent… Elles s’\u00e9taient inscrites au fur et \u00e0 mesure dans mon inconscient, parfois le hasard s’y est m\u00eal\u00e9, j’ai choisi de le contr\u00f4ler et de l’int\u00e9grer.<\/em> ” J.Hurdebourcq<\/p>
